Inside Out podcast. I'm your host Jojo and this is where we will navigate the mess together. That is mental, emotional and spiritual. Let's get messy.

Jojo (00:29.144)
Hi everyone, welcome back. So I promised that I was gonna have Rahel Iborro back on the podcast this week to discuss the houses. Now, if you don't know where or what I am talking about, there are two episodes in the last two weeks. So go back to part one and part two of Beyond the Zodiac, where we really look at how to decode astrology and dive deeper into ourselves and really understand why we're here. And it really is a blueprint of our soul.

we get into it. So if you have not listened to those episodes before you continue with this one, please stop this. Thank you for joining, but go back to part one and then go to part two. However, if you have finished part one and part two, then let's continue. But before we do have you pulled up your birth chart? Because if you aren't pulling up your birth chart, you're going to be so lost in what we're actually talking about. So I want you to go.

to a birth chart calculator. They're free, they're online. You can use astro.com, can use Astro-C, you can use, I think there's like Astrology Cafe. The pattern is my absolute favorite. I talk about it all the time. And put in your exact time of birth, the location and the date, of course, the date, you need your birthday. And you guys, it does have to be the exact time of birth. So call your mom.

Look at your birth certificate, do what you need to do to get the exact, I mean, exact city, exact minute, exact date, exact time zone. All of those things are so, so, so important because otherwise it's not gonna be accurate. And we need accuracy when we look at our birth chart because there's so much information and so much that we can dive into in ourselves to figure out what all of this is and really how to align with this energy and...

Use it as a tool to evolve, transform and grow, which is what we are all about here on Inside Out. So if you have not looked at your birth chart, pause right now. I mean it, pause, go pull up your birth chart. And once you have it, then come back. Or if you are still like, I haven't listened to part one or part two yet, still do this, still pause the episode, go pull up your birth chart and then come back and join us because we're going to get into it.

Jojo (02:49.623)
Okay, now, as I mentioned, I was supposed to have Rahel Iborro back on the podcast. So a couple things happened. One is she's traveling currently, so she's not in person. We weren't able to coordinate a time to get this together. And the second thing is when we did try to record, the stars were not in alignment and the universe was not on our side for this. Or maybe it was, you know, we never know. But there was a ton of construction happening. The episode was being recorded and there was like

banging happening in the background. So we just decided, you know what, we can take a beat. The last two episodes, that was a lot of information. We broke down our sun, our moon, and our rising. So if you have not listened or you don't know what your sun, moon, and rising are, those are very key elements because in this following part three that we're going to get into, my hope is that this episode on part three will drop May 14th. Now we'll see that is the

That is the target date, but anything can happen in the meantime. But I did want to take a moment because there was so much information that was shared and I want to make sure that we're all dropping in and really understanding how this all sort of aligns with ourselves. So to briefly recap the first episode, we talked about our sun, moon and rising.

So our son is when we were born. So if you were born in October, I was born October 10th. So my son is in Libra. So again, pull up your birth chart, follow along, but your son is your core identity. It's the you. It's you in your full power. So think about your essence, your ego, your life force, the I am. Your moon is your emotional world. It's how you feel, how you nurture, how you react. It's your inner life. It's what you need to feel safe. Your moon is I feel. And you're rising, which is your ascendant.

or your outer mask is how the world sees you and how you show up in the world. And this is your vibe. This is I appear. So in part two, we discussed the planets and what those mean in our birth chart. The mercury is your mind, your communication, how you think, how you talk, how you process information. Your Venus is your love languages and your values, how you give and receive love, beauty, how you relate to money, what you attract. Mars is your drive and your passion, what you

Jojo (05:12.145)
Take action on or assert yourself in. It's also anger. Jupiter is your expansion, your blessings, growth, wisdom, optimism, sometimes chaos. Saturn is your discipline and your life lessons, your boundaries, your structures, your responsibility and karma. Think about your Saturn return. We cover all of this in part two. Your Uranus is your inner rebel or liberator. Where you break the rules, experience shocks and crave freedom.

Your Neptune are your dreams and your illusions. This part inspires creativity, spirituality, and also there is a level of confusion with Neptune. Your Pluto is your transformer. It deals with death and rebirth. Think of metamorphosis, think of the butterfly. This deals with power, control, and basically like death and rebirth in our biggest challenges. Your North Node is your soul's purpose. It's the unfamiliar path that you're meant to grow into in this lifetime. And your South Node,

is your comfort zone. It's also your karmic, your past life, the talents that you've mastered, but that also need to be evolved and changed and what we need to grow into in this lifetime to transcend and grow from. And then our chiron. Our chiron is our deepest wounding and it's also our potential for healing. It's where our pain becomes our power. So the reason we're talking about this is because we can use where the planets are

in our birth charts and what houses they show up in and what sign they show up in to really uncover our deepest truths, maybe why we do certain things, our patterning. Well, we're going to get into all of this next week. We're really going to dissect what each one means. Now, I'll give a little prelude. So your first house is your identity. Your second house is your values and your money. Your third house is your communication. It can also be your siblings.

Your fourth house is your home and your roots. Your fifth house is your creativity, romance, inner child. Your sixth house is your health, routines, and service. So the first six houses are all about your inner world. The next six houses, so seven through 12, are all about your outer world. So your seventh house is your relationships. Your eighth house is transformation, death, sex, all of that.

Jojo (07:37.423)
Your ninth house is philosophy, travel, higher education. Your 10th house is career and reputation. Your 11th house is community, vision. And your 12th house is spirituality, subconscious, and karma. So next week, we are going to unpack all of this with Rahel Iborro from Imona Astrology. Again,

Seriously, go back and listen to part one and part two so you're all caught up and that you can actually have your birth chart open and follow along and be like, wait, I'm connecting dots here. That's your homework. I keep giving homework. I really mean it. It's gonna be so helpful if you're like with us in this journey. So right now I'm looking at my birth chart and it says that I have Venus in Scorpio in my eighth house. Now, what does that mean? You might ask.

Well, we're going to dive deeper into that next week, but if I was just very like preliminary looking at it, I'd be like, okay. So I'd go back and I'd listen to what Venus really stands for, what Scorpio really means. And then putting it in my eighth house, eighth house is about transformation, death and sex. So that has a lot to do with my outer world, how I relate to growth, money, love, what I attract in this world.

my transformation, you know, the way I interact with, I mean, it says it right here, death and sex, huge transformation points in our lives. So we're going to get deeper. Now, I also want you to look at your chart and see if there are any houses that are empty or any signs that are empty. For me, when I look at my chart, I noticed that I have a few parts of my circle, little areas that are not filled with any planets. So we're gonna talk about

why that is. And also some of you might all have your planets all in one place. What does that mean? Does that mean that like other areas of your life aren't fulfilled? That we're just limited in some ways? My guess is no, but hell is going to uncover all of this as well. So make sure you know what your birth chart looks like, because this is going to be a very illuminating conversation that we're going to have. And

Jojo (09:52.337)
I am really excited because even though she's not available at the moment, she's a very busy gal, she will be offering us a discount to our listeners for booking a private chart reading with her where she's going to dissect your personal chart. So let me tell you, I've had her look at certain aspects of my chart before and my mind has been blown. I mean, just listen to the conversations I've had with her over the past two weeks.

You're learning so much just by looking at what is influencing you. And for me, this isn't, as I said before, this isn't like a scapegoat mechanism. This isn't, I can blame this and be like, well, that's because this and run away. No, we aren't blaming. It's to utilize this stuff so that we can have better transformation. Maybe if you have a tendency of escapism,

when you look at your chart, because let's say your moon is in Gemini and you just have a tendency of like, all right, I need to escape. I don't want to deal with this pressure or like run away. On the opposite side of that, if you know that's your tendency, you can evolve and change through that and establish a greater depth in yourself and your relationships and the way you deal with life, because you know that, okay, that's a huge influence of mine. It's not, okay, well, that's just the way I am. Sorry, deal with it. Okay, you can be that way. That's fine. But I doubt that...

Those are my listeners on Inside Out. I think all of us really want to understand why we do certain things. And if we understand, I have a more of a tendency to do X, Y, and Z because I have this influence, aren't we gonna wanna work with that energy and evolve and change and grow through that rather than just point the finger and say, just is what it is. Astrology is that tool. Astrology is that way that we can have a very clear roadmap of how to evolve.

how to evolve beyond the zodiac. It's not just what it means and blah, blah, this is my horoscope. It's how do I take this energy? How do I take this tool? And how do I apply it to my life so that I can have a limitless life, so that I can live truthfully, so that I can have abundant relationships, so that I can be on the career path that makes sense for me, so that I can be in communication and flow and have more ease and have more...

Jojo (12:11.409)
love and just overall peace in my life. The world is a very chaotic place, but we attract what we put out. So if you're constantly in chaos, you're going to attract chaos. Maybe you attract chaos because of a certain planetary alignment and a certain emphasis in that area, but how are you going to know that if you don't know where to find that? And if we work with that energy, this is how we figure out what to do with it. If you have a tendency to have a weaker me, for instance,

You're going to want to do PT. You're going to want to strengthen that muscle. You're not just going to be like, well, that's a weak muscle. I'm just going to let it deteriorate over time. No, you're going to see a physical therapist. You're going to do the exercises. You're going to understand how to make that muscle stronger. How to heal that. It's the same thing. We want to uncover these things. We want to not just in our own like psyche.

But so it ripples out in our lives because if we don't have the inner piece, we're not going to have the outer piece. All right, you guys, you get it. I know you do. So next week, again, I'm so sorry for the, for the mix up for the, it's not even something in my control, but I know a lot of you have been really looking forward to how to merge all of this together and really getting that final piece.

of what the houses mean and how to like really look at our entire chart. until then go back and listen to part one and part two, send your questions because we're going to get into it. And also send this to a friend because astrology is and probably will be for a while be misused and we can get ahead of that narrative. And that's what I'm trying to do here with enlightening people of like really what the purpose of astrology is.

because I think it's so helpful the deeper we get with ourselves, the deeper we understand the universe, the more non-random things feel, and we just have a happier time. So until we get deeper, until we get messier, until we go into the houses and really dive into what all of that is, not just from my limited knowledge, but from Rachel's,

Jojo (14:26.046)
extensive knowledge. But until then, I will see you guys next week. Have a beautiful week. Again, send your questions, comments. I love to hear it. I also want to hear when things don't make sense. Some of you were like, hey, this doesn't make sense. Great. Let me know. I'm not in your head. I don't have an ego about this. I'm trying to be here for you guys. So if this isn't interesting to you, then what am I even talking about? All right. I'm done rambling. Have a great week, guys. Bye.
